2024 Burns Supper a Rousing Success!

Thank you to everyone who came out with us to celebrate the life and work of Scotland’s bard.

A Robert Burns Supper is an institution of Scottish life: a night to celebrate the life and works of Scotland’s National Bard.

The Scottish Society of Ottawa is delighted to be again presenting our time-honoured traditional Burns Supper and Ceilidh. Join us for a brilliant Burns celebration including a customary Burns meal, traditional toasts and speeches (expect some great entertainment value here!), and of course whisky and haggis.
 

FEATURES

  • A delicious Burns Supper a four course meal including Haggis

  • Burns night traditions  Selkirk Grace, Address to a Haggis, Immortal Memory, Toast to the Lassies, Reply to the Toast to the Lassies, Auld Lang Syne ‘And there's a hand, my trusty fere!’

  • A Cocktail Station sponsored by Noble Estates between 6 pm and 10pm with Scotch Whisky and Gin.

  • Pipes and Drums of the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh’s Own)

  • Dancers from Reel Ottawa Dance Company 

  • Ceilidh band  Shabraque Celtic

Seating is assigned in tables of eight so if you wish to be seated with friends or family please indicate this during ticket purchase, as well as any dietary restrictions or accessibility accommodation. There is limited seating available but we will do our best to make all accommodations. 

Tickets for SSO Paid Members are $120 plus tax, for SSO Non-paid Members or Guests $130 plus tax. Please ensure that you make the appropriate selection when adding to the cart.
